What is an ETA visa?
The European Union Free Trade Agreement (EUTA) allows citizens of countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) to visit, work, and study in any of the other EEA member states for up to three months without a visa. Canada has also signed on to the EEA, so ETA visas are also valid in Canada.

What are the different types of ETA visas?

How long does it take to get an ETA visa?
When you apply for an ETA visa, your application will be processed in two stages. In the first stage, you will need to provide documentation that proves you meet the requirements of an ETA visa. This documentation can include your passport information, a copy of your flight ticket, and copies of any documents that show you are eligible to stay in Canada.
The second stage of your application will involve providing evidence that you have enough money to support yourself while in Canada. This evidence can include a bank statement or proof of employment. How do I apply for an ETA visa?
The European Union (EU) is a Schengen Area country, which means that citizens of most EU countries can travel visa-free to other Schengen Area countries for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. However, citizens of Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Romania and the United Kingdom are not allowed to stay more than 60 days in any 180-day period.

-Not have been convicted of a criminal offence that would make you ineligible for a visa
-Not be considered a security risk by the Canadian government

What are the Canada visa requirements for an ETA visa?
